Production Control Clerk

The Production Control Clerk is responsible for supporting administrative functions as designated by the Materials Manager including ERP support, kitting, expediting, outside services, shipping assistance, etc.

Specific job duties include:

  • Responsible for production control activities in the Bloomington plant
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate component inventory
  • Ensure that all material and kits are delivered to the production floor timely and accurately
  • Responsible for expediting all outside services
  • Coordinate the transfer of material between departments and work orders as necessary
  • Release Production Travelers to the floor
  • Work closely with the Materials Manager, Plant Manager and Cell Coordinators to achieve a robust supply chain flow
  • Responsible for updating new job list and following progress of the new jobs in Bloomington

Requirements include: High School Diploma or equivalent, exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication skills, must be detail oriented and perform accurate data entry, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and prior experience working in a manufacturing setting is a plus.

Account Manager – Customer Service

We currently seek an experienced Account Manager for our Customer Service department.   As an Account Manager, you assure complete service to our customers by maintaining customer accounts based on an assigned region, manage re-order quotes for customers, resolve customer questions/complaints, manage customer returns, produce daily reports to track parts in the production process, etc.

Qualified candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, have experience with Global ERP systems, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to resolve issues in a positive manner, a high attention to detail, and a minimum of three years of customer service experience.  A two or four year business degree is preferred as well as prior experience with a manufacturing company.

CAD Operator

We seek an entry level CAD Operator for our Northfield, MN location.  This position is responsible for reviewing and preparing data and generate tooling for the process of fabricating flexible printed circuits and heaters.  This individual will read in, convert, review and clean up data for manufacturing; read, review and interpret customer prints/drawings; design circuits and heaters; panelize parts and generate tooling for production; interact with internal and external customers, and provide support to sales and production.

Qualified candidates must possess post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.  An associates degree is preferred.  General knowledge and understanding of electricity; experience with CAD/CAM software, and circuit and/or heater design experience is also preferred.  Must possess the following:  strong analytical, technical and critical thinking skills; detail oriented; must be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced work environment; ability to work independently as well as a team environment; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong math and geometry aptitude;  ability to make independent decisions, and strong organizational skills.

This position is responsible for the overall quality of our products, processes, ISO and continuous improvement implementation.  This individual will oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency; drive to achieve internal and external quality goals; be involved in developing systems to ensure that All Flex products are designed and produced to meet or exceed customer requirements; apply advanced quality knowledge, represent emerging technology, and utilize statistical data to determine root causes and improvements; and perform reject analysis and take action as required to correct product and process problems.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Desired:  5-7 years related experience; knowledge and understanding of auditing to ISO standards; expertise in documentation control and change management best practices; proven ability to lead a team of individuals; ability to develop, recommend and implement strategies and solutions to influence/drive change; ability to understand regulations and standards; high level of professionalism and collaboration in team settings; knowledge of principles and applications of statistical methods including statistical problem solving; working knowledge of manufacturing and production plants; highly developed written and verbal communication skills; and highly developed customer relationship skills.  Specific PCB industry experience is preferred.

We currently seek an entry level Manufacturing Engineer for our Northfield, MN facility.  As a member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to learn the operations and manufacturing process through hands on training.  We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, a demonstrated leader, self-motivated, and ready to tackle new opportunities and challenges.  As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will participate in the manufacturing process with the responsibility of ensuring manufacturability at the lowest possible cost using current manufacturing  procedures.  You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to improve product quality, product cost, capacity and throughput.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math or science.  This position requires a great attention to detail, the ability to take on challenges and solve complex problems, the ability to make decisions independently, a business aptitude, excellent organizational and communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
